A practical, yet sassy style with a phone, pen and simple zipper pocket.
Style A is embellished with a large gorgeous frilly rose and style B has a scrumptious texture which is complimented with a small frilly rose brooch.
Pattern includes full pattern pieces and step by step instructions including diagrams.
Requirements are based on 112 cm (44”) wide fabrics. Suggested fabrics are linen or linen and cotton blends for the outer bag and 100% cotton fabric for the lining and rose.
Style A Requirements (Bag with large rose)
Outer fabric of bag: 55 cm (2/3 yard)
Lining and Rose: 85 cm (1 yard)
Contrast fabric for Rose: 25 cm (1/3 yard)
Medium weight iron on Pellon (H640): 55 cm (2/3 yard)
6 mm (¼”) wide elastic: 1.8 m (2 yards)
Felt for base of the rose: 22.5 cm (8 ¾”) square
Template plastic: 4.5 cm x 30 cm (1 ¾ x 11 ¾)
Zipper for internal pocket: 15 cm (6”)
Cover button for flower centre: Size 22 mm (1”)

Style B requirements (Textured bag with small frilly rose brooch)
Outer fabric of bag: 70 cm (3/4 yard)
Lining and Rose: 70 cm (3/4 yard)
Contrast fabric for Rose: 5 cm (2”) strip x the fabric
30 % shrink sheet: 50 cm (2/3 yard)
Medium weight iron on Pellon (H640): 15 cm (6”) For strap only
6 mm (¼”) wide elastic: 60 cm (2/3 yard)
Felt for base of the rose: 12 cm (5”) square
Template plastic: 4.5 x 30 cm (1 ¾ x 11 ¾)
Zipper for internal pocket: 15 cm (6”)
2 x Grommets; Size 5 cm (2”) measured from outer edge
Button for bag closure
